Music Lessons
We are extremely excited to be able to share with you our instrumental lesson programme.
Learning an instrument can be one of the most rewarding things anyone can do. Not only will it support musical development, but it can also support students’ academic studies by teaching self-motivation, confidence, and independence. It also provides students with a huge amount of fun, pleasure, and a sense of achievement.
We employ a team of highly experienced peripatetic instrumental teachers. Our teachers are very much part of the music department and alongside teaching students throughout the year, they attend concerts, support students with entering music grades and run some of our music ensembles at lunchtime and after school.
What instruments are on offer
Currently we offer lessons for the following instruments: Woodwind (saxophone, flute, clarinet), Strings (violin), Piano, Drum kit, Vocals, Guitar (acoustic, electric, bass, ukulele) and Production/music technology.
If your child would like to learn an instrument not listed above, please get in contact with the school to discuss this.
Cost
The instrumental lesson costs are as follows:
20-minute lesson - £9.50
30-minute lesson - £13.50
